I had the greatest time today rowing and kayaking on the Blue Nile. I met some great folks who run the Boating Club and they took us out on their boats. I now have a new hobby for Saturdays. At least during the dry season (Now- March).
We also had tea and fresh fish with our new friends as well! yummy!
One funny moment not caught on camera was when I tried out the rowing boat for one person. That thing is hard to balance! I totally capsized was drenched and then when I got out to pull it a shore was knee deep and muddy nile silt. It was like quick sand! Crazy! The water felt good though! Next time Ill wear my bathing suit under my clothes =)
