running through farms of manchia

on monday the hash/running group was in an area called manchia where there are lots of farms. it was so beautiful!

when we go for our run we have to follow the path which is set hours before with flour arrows. sometimes there are multiple ways to go and you have to run and see if you can find another arrow..if not you turn around and go the other way. so it can be a bit like a scavenger hunt sometimes.

(I also posted a picture of a plant i always see here in khartoum. it has huge green grapefruit looking things on it..but is not fruit and i heard if they burst the stuff in side can sting and hurt pretty bad..so i just took a picture.)

school is winding down we have 2 weeks and 2 days left!! i can't believe it. and if the eid holiday starts early (depends on the moon) the last 2 days we may not have many students although school will be open.

can't believe 1/2 of the school year is coming to a close.
