scottish dancing

So last night I want to a Scottish dancing class. Never would have thought that would happen in Khartoum.
It was a lot of fun and quite a work out!
I am also planning a Dance party on my roof for this weekend.
Although I am sad there are now public clubs or places to dance here I am realizing you just have to make your own fun in Khartoum.
So I downloaded a bunch of old skool hip hop and another guy-Eduardo who has DJ equipment will bring some Salsa/Merengue and we will have lots of fun!!

Since my return from Ethiopia it has been hard being back in Khartoum. Ethiopia was so much freer and greener and the weather was much more pleasant.

I am also anxiously awaiting my absentee ballot. Gotta get my vote in for Pennsylvania! Its Obama mania over here. Not sure if the ballot will come through the mail on time and once it does ..if it will make it back to the states on time...and once it makes it back to Philly it will actaully get counted...but one can certainly hope.
