I got my absentee ballot in the mail and voted. Yeah! Im sending it off in the Embassy Mail package so it should get the the states in time. Now lets just hope they actually count it.
I also had a dance part on my roof this weekend. It was great. I realized that I really missed dancing and since you basically have to create your own fun here...Ive now solidfied my Thursday night activity. Dancing on my roof or someone elses. I was co djing with a guy named Eduardo who has some DJ equiptment. We focused on latin dancing and taught the guests salsa and merengue. We also danced to some good 90's hip hop and reggae! It was so much fun!
No cover charges and no closing time..and a play list that was all requests!
The weather is actually getting a little cooler. I went to the rec site and the nile river has dropped about 15 feet. There were trees under there!!! Now we can see them. It hasn't rained in weeks and its still hot so it makes sense.
